absolutely. i am sure there are alot of people who have had heart attacks with no warning signs. I would be more worried about a disecting aorta ( where the aorta begins to tear like a run in pantyhose and by the time they know it is happening you are dead) which killed John Ritter.

Absolutely!!! Heart attacks can occur due to various conditions. Examples are high blood pressure, high cholorestorol. Always remember to get a general check up by your doctor atleast once a year to catch any problems that may arise.

My sis had a male friend who was a marathon runner, vegetarian, who was a picture of health. He died of a heart attack. We see young athletes in the news die from heart problems when they had no symptoms of high BP or heart abnormalities. So, to answer your question, Yes, I believe you can have a heart attack without having high BP. Plus, there are different levels/types of heart attacks. My dad had several, though didn't know it until he decided a week later to see his doc.

Take your blood pressure reading on two or more occasions. Lifestyle interventions are a crucial element of successful treatment, including a diet (such as the DASH diet) which is low in sodium and rich in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Clinical trials have also documented the beneficial effects of weight loss, increased physical activity, and limiting alcohol consumption.

Yes. Hypertension is a risk factor for heart attacks but it is not the only cause. Controlling hypertension improves your odds but it is no guarantee.

i think he could. if he went through a very strenous activity and suddenly stops doing it. his heart could malfunction and cause heart attack. example, doing a strenous exercise without warm up and cool down stages. the heart would find it hard to adjust its beat or pacing, thus the heart attack.
