A few weeks back i went to see my doctor regarding unexplained fatigue, and a general lack of energy. With my family history of anemia, the doctor ordered a blood test to take place, he checked hemoglobin levels and did a full blood count and iron levels.

The results were all clear, and anemia has been ruled out , however he paused over my liver results and asked me ' do you drink a lot?' which surprised me as i hardly, if ever drink. My results are borderline high, but apart from that he was really vague with me, he told me to return in 3 weeks for a repeat and i had them done today.

Back in 2012 i did a really silly thing and took 30 panadol tablets in succession in the space of around 30 minutes on an empty stomach i was in a foreign country at the time and i wasn't given any reversal treatments just hooked up to saline, My skin turned yellow before my eyes and the doctors were quite alarmed. This soon faded though, I realized almost immediately that i i had done a ridiculous thing and i know before anyone tells me that any problems i may have are self inflicted and i know i don't deserve any sympathy, im not after judgement just some advice.

update!! just rang up for my second round of results, was told over the phone that thyroid is fine and vitamin d but again on the liver funtion tests she said must make an appointment to see the doctor. Does this indicate that the liver function results are bad again?

Get a juice machine of good quality and drink beet juice. By itself it tastes awful, so put a couple carrots and some apple slices in, it's actually pretty tasty then. Get plenty of iron and vitamin B, Swiss Chard and Kale are both great for this but any green leafy vegetables will also do you well

You should include fresh organic greens and fruits in your diet. You might also want to drink an herbal tea which contains sure substances similar to chamomile flower, burdock root, dandelion root, licorice root and peppermint leaf to assist with the digestion process.

i really appreciate all the advice but i wanted to know why the doctor would want to see me in person about my results.
