Blood tests can show if you have had a heart attack within the past 24-48 hours, but otherwise are not a very good indicator of a heart attack. The symptoms you have are not typical of angina, but are very typical of acid reflux, or possibly a dislocation of one of the ribs where they attach to the sternum (costchondritis).

Some blood tests will show when the heart is not doing its job. Certain enzymes are elevated during heart attacks, clotting times are checked, and red blood cells and platelets are checked. These all help confirm or rule out heart problems, but are not always conclusive.
